Serving Multan since 1994

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sharjah Centre website, sharjahcentrepk.com (the "Site"), and any purchase you make through it. The Site is operated by Sharjah Centre ("we", "us", "our"), a home-living retailer based in Multan, Pakistan. You can read more about Sharjah Centre on our story page.

By browsing the Site, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund and Returns Policy, each of which forms part of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms are the only terms that apply to purchases made through the Site. Where any other page on the Site appears to say something different, these Terms prevail.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age — the age of majority in Pakistan — to place an order, or you must place the order under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is true and complete.

3. Products and Availability

We sell home-living products, including dinner sets, melamine dinnerware, crockery, tea sets, cups and saucers, glassware, cookware, cutlery, hotpots, buffet dishes and food warmers, silver and steel items, baking items, home décor, daily essentials, kitchen electronics, and personal and beauty care appliances.

All products are subject to availability, and stock shown online may differ from stock held at our Multan showroom. We may limit, change, or discontinue any product at any time, and we may restrict the quantity of any item sold to any customer, order, or region.

Products are sold for personal and household use. If you wish to order in bulk — for example for a wedding, jahez, hotel, or restaurant — please contact us or message us on WhatsApp first, so we can confirm availability, pricing, and delivery. Bulk and trade orders may be subject to separate agreed terms.

4. Product Descriptions and Accuracy

We make every effort to display our products accurately. However, colours, finishes, and textures may vary from what appears on your screen because of your device and its display settings, and because of natural variation in materials such as ceramic, porcelain, bone china, glass, and wood. Minor variation in shade, glaze, gold trim, or hand-applied decoration is a characteristic of these materials and is not a defect.

Piece counts, dimensions, and weights are given as accurately as we can and may vary slightly between production batches. We do not warrant that every product description or item of content on the Site is complete, current, or error-free.

If a product is materially not as described, you may return it unused in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy. This does not affect any right you have under applicable law.

5. Pricing

All prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). The price shown for a product includes any tax we are required to charge on it. Delivery charges are separate and are shown at checkout before you confirm your order, in accordance with our Shipping Policy. You will never be asked to pay a charge that was not shown to you before you confirmed the order.

The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the time you place it. Prices, discounts, and promotional offers may change at any time without notice, and online prices may differ from prices in our Multan showroom. Promotions may carry their own conditions, which prevail where they conflict with these Terms.

In the event of an obvious pricing or listing error, we may cancel any affected order even after confirmation, and will refund in full any amount already paid. We will tell you before doing so.

6. Orders and Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. An order confirmation email or message acknowledges that we have received your order; it does not by itself constitute acceptance. A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods, whichever is earlier.

We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, an unreachable phone number, or an incomplete or non-serviceable delivery address. Where we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will issue a full refund.

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible on WhatsApp or through our contact page. We will do our best to accommodate the request, but we may not be able to make changes once an order has been handed to the courier. You can follow your parcel on our order tracking page.

7. Payment

The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout and are also described on our payment methods page. Cash on Delivery is available in serviceable areas.

For Cash on Delivery orders, the full amount is payable to the courier at the time of delivery. Repeated refusal of cash-on-delivery parcels without reason may result in future orders being declined or requiring advance payment. For prepaid orders, we process the order once payment has been confirmed.

You confirm that any payment details you provide are valid and are used with authorisation, and that you will pay all charges incurred, including delivery charges. Card and wallet payments are handled by third-party payment providers; we do not receive or store your full card details.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timelines, charges, and coverage areas are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are indicative and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, public holidays, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, but where a delay becomes unreasonable you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them.

Because much of what we sell is fragile, please open and inspect ceramic, porcelain, bone china, and glass items in the presence of the courier where possible. Report any transit damage to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs, and we will replace or refund the item in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy. Breakage reported after that period may be harder for us to verify with the courier and may not be accepted.

9. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in that policy or in these Terms removes any right you have under Pakistani consumer law. Common questions about returns, delivery, and order changes are answered on our FAQs page.

10. Warranty on Appliances

Where a manufacturer's or importer's warranty is supplied with a kitchen appliance or personal care appliance, that warranty applies on the terms and for the period stated by the manufacturer or importer, and claims are handled through the relevant brand's authorised service network. We will help you begin a claim on request.

We do not offer a separate warranty of our own unless it is stated in writing on the product page or on your invoice. Warranty cover does not extend to damage caused by misuse, voltage fluctuation, unauthorised repair, or ordinary wear. Crockery, glassware, cutlery, and other non-electrical items carry no warranty against breakage, chipping, or wear; care guidance is given in our product care guide. This section does not affect your statutory rights in respect of goods that are faulty or not as described.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including the Sharjah Centre name, logo, and monogram, and all text, images, graphics, product photography, video, and buying guides — is our property or is used under licence, and is protected under the Copyright Ordinance 1962, the Trade Marks Ordinance 2001, and other applicable laws of Pakistan.

You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or use our content or product photography for commercial purposes — including on marketplaces, resale listings, or social media selling pages — without our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

12. Reviews and Customer Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, or other content to us or to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with our business, including in marketing, for as long as we operate. You confirm that the content is your own, that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, and that it contains nothing unlawful, abusive, or misleading. We may decline to publish, edit for length, or remove any submission, and we are not obliged to keep it confidential or to pay for it.

13. Communications and Marketing

By placing an order, you agree that we may contact you about that order by email, SMS, phone, or WhatsApp. We will send you marketing messages only where you have opted in, for example by subscribing to our newsletter, and you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by asking us to stop. How we collect, use, and protect your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to submit false or fraudulent orders; upload viruses or harmful code; infringe our rights or those of others; harvest, scrape, or track the personal information of others; impersonate any person; use automated tools to access or copy the Site; interfere with its operation or security; or act unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these Terms.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site is hosted on Shopify and uses third-party services for payments, delivery, analytics, and messaging. It may also contain links to third-party websites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and your dealings with them are subject to their own terms. Any sale you make on this Site is made with Sharjah Centre and not with Shopify, and Shopify is not responsible for that sale.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sharjah Centre shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or from products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the Punjab Consumer Protection Act 2005 and the Sale of Goods Act 1930.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Sharjah Centre, its owners, employees, and agents against any claims, losses, or reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site. This does not apply to loss caused by our own breach or negligence.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, strikes, civil unrest, import restrictions, internet or courier outages, or acts of government. Where such an event prevents us from delivering your order, we will refund you in full.

19. Severability, Waiver, and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive it. These Terms, together with the policies referred to in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Site.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "last updated" date above will be revised. Changes do not apply retrospectively to orders already accepted, which remain governed by the Terms in force when you placed them.

21. Complaints, Governing Law, and Jurisdiction

If something has gone wrong with your order, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly and directly. We aim to respond to every complaint within three working days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Multan, Punjab. This does not deprive you of the protection of any consumer forum available to you under applicable law.
